Attention Ladies of NuPhilly If you have longed to use your God given voice to sing Praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but have been unable to commit to weekly choir rehearsals or to singing every Sunday, please do not despair. We have A NEW ministry made just for you - it’s the “Sister’s In Christ Mass Choir”. This choir will minister only 4 times a year, on 5th Sundays. You will have a maximum of two rehearsals, four times a year. Come join “Sister’s In Christ” on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. See you there! Barbara Allen, Minister of Music.
The SonShine Kids Children’s Choir will host their first “Trunk and Treat Party” on Wednesday, October 31st in Butler Hall, 6pm – 9pm. This party is in lieu of trick or treating elsewhere. We want a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for our children and youth. So, we are asking the “Village” of New Philadelphia to help us by donating bags of wrapped candy, and your time. There will be a DJ, multiple games, best costume contest and a ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Contest. Remember, ‘It Takes A Village’. For further information contact Mrs. Renee Thomas or Ms. Sherry Oglesby.

Today is the final sign-up for the Annual Southern California Conference WMS 5K Walk & Health Expo, Sat., June 16th, at Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park, 905 East El Segundo Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90059. Registration and the warm-up for the 5k walk will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. The 5k walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. YPD activities including a Junior Olympics for ages 3-12 and a Kickball Tournament for ages 13+ will begin at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to participate. If you are not walking, please consider sponsoring a WMS or YPD member. See any WMS, YPD member, or co-Chairpersons Carmen Snuggs, Bettie Stoot or Vicki Stuckey for additional information. The WMS and the YPD will participate in the Annual Southern California Conference WMS 5K Walk & Health Expo, Sat., June 16th, at Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park, 905 East El Segundo Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90059. There will be YPD activities including a Junior Olympics for ages 3-12 and a Kickball Tournament for ages 13+. All are welcome to participate.
