New Philadelphia will host the Lenten Caravan here on Wednesday, April 3rd, 7:00 p.m.

Pastor Walker will preach the closing Lenten Caravan service on Wednesday, April 17th, 7:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 7900 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles. (The entire Caravan schedule will be available next Sunday.)

The Bridge Builders Foundation Scholarship Program annually awards educational scholarships for minority youth based on their commitment to attend a four-year college, their civic and community involvement, and their scholarly attainments and aspirations. The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is providing Scholarship Awards to students pursuing higher education in Criminal Justice Administration or related fields. NOBLE is pleased to offer a one-time scholarship award of $1,000 each, to six (6) graduating high school seniors who have a career interest in criminal justice, or a related field and (4) college students currently studying criminal justice, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
