The Bridge Builders Foundation Scholarship Program annually awards educational scholarships for minority youth based on their commitment to attend a four-year college, their civic and community involvement, and their scholarly attainments and aspirations. The program awards initial scholarships for current graduating high school seniors and continuing renewal scholarships for those continuing their education at a 4-year college. Applications are available in the Foyer, or at www.bridgebuilderlsa.org

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is providing Scholarship Awards to students pursuing higher education in Criminal Justice Administration or related fields. NOBLE is pleased to offer a one-time scholarship award of $1,000 each, to six (6) graduating high school seniors who have a career interest in criminal justice, or a related field and (4) college students currently studying criminal justice, or a related field at an accredited college or university. Information is available in the Foyer.

YPD Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday. The YPDers will be asking for small monetary donations that will be given to a local charity.

The Spirit of Praise Dance Ministry is recruiting new members. You can be a dancer or a flag bearer. Sign-ups are in the Foyer or you can see Renee Thomas or Tameka Pyles. Rehearsals are Thursday nights, 7:00 p.m. in the Bilbrew Center.

The Bridge Builders Foundation Scholarship Program annually awards educational scholarships for minority youth based on their commitment to attend a four-year college, their civic and community involvement, and their scholarly attainments and aspirations. The program awards initial scholarships for current graduating high school seniors and continuing renewal scholarships for those continuing their education at a 4-year college. Applications are available in the Foyer, or at www.bridgebuilderlsa.org

AME Church Founder’s Day, Sunday, February 10th. The Annual So. California 5th District worship service will be held at FAME Los Angeles, 2270 S. Harvard Blvd. at 3:00 p.m.

The Mighty Men of God (MMOG) presents, Laughing in the Church, a night of clean comic relief in conjunction with Keep Em Smiling Productions. Saturday, March 2, 2019, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. here in the Sanctuary. Tickets: $20 per person. See Wil Reeves or Will Gauff for tickets.
